As every research leads to particular development in respective field, so the major goal of this research is to investigate a novel structure of field excitation flux switching machine (FEFSM) having low cost, better efficiency, light weight, low losses, robust structure, better torque speed characteristics as compared to induction motors presently employed in axial fan. Induction motors installed in axial fan will be replaced with low cost FEFSM machine having better performance and requires no maintenance.
