Analysis Group

Analysis is the branch of mathematics that includes the theories of analytic functions, operator theory, differentiations, integrations, measures, limits and infinite series. These theories are usually studied in the context of real numbers, complex numbers and functions. Analysis evolved from calculus, which involves the elementary concepts and techniques of analysis. Analysis may be distinguished from geometry. However, it can be applied to any space of mathematical objects that has a definition of nearness (a topological space) or specific distances between objects (a metric space).

In department of Mathematics at CIIT, Abbottabad, a strong research group of Analysis working on advanced studies of analysis and its applications. They are working on different fields of analysis collaborated with worldwide famous mathematicians of analysis. There are a number of excellent research publications of this research group with highly impact factors in ISI journals. Currently this group is active on the following research field of analysis:

  • Fixed Point Theory and its Applications,
  • Variational Inequalites problems and Optimization,
  • Split Feasibility Problems and Projection Algorithms,
  • Complex Analysis and its Applications
  • Topological spaces,
  • Operator theory and relativity problems,
  •  Financial & Actuarial Mathematics

There are a number of opportunities for graduate students to build up them self by working in advanced group of analysis.
