Welcome to the Geotechnical Engineering research group at CIIT Abbottabad the research group focus is on finding cost effective and sustainable ways of improving engineering properties of foundation soils to ensure safety and reliability of civil engineering projects. The group undertakes research activities in the areas of ground improvement, geo-synthetics, soil testing (both laboratory and in-situ testing), soil-structure interaction and numerical analyses. The research group has outstanding facilities for laboratory experimental research, field experimental research and numerical modeling.
